Flags at Half-Staff for Kristen Yeager

Governor Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania ordered flags to fly at half-staff on May 30, 2026, to honor Central Berks Regional Police Officer Kristen Yeager, who died in the line of duty on May 29, 2026. Officer Yeager, 42, was killed in a vehicle crash while responding to an emergency call in Earl Township, Berks County. Her service and sacrifice are being recognized as part of a statewide tribute to law enforcement's dedication to keeping communities safe.

All U.S. and Pennsylvania flags on Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds are to be flown at half-staff immediately and shall remain lowered until the date of interment.
