Flags at Half-Staff for September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance

Governor Tony Evers signed Executive Order #274 ordering the flags of the United States and the state of Wisconsin to be flown at half-staff on September 11, 2026. This observance honors the nearly 3,000 individuals who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Wisconsin's Day of Service and Remembrance encourages citizens to reflect on the tragedy and participate in community service to give back to their neighbors and local communities.
Flag protocol
Flags shall be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on September 11, 2026.
