Flags at Half-Staff for 2021 Waukesha Christmas Parade Tragedy

Governor Tony Evers of Wisconsin declared that flags be flown at half-staff to honor the six victims of the tragic incident at the 2021 Waukesha Christmas parade on November 21, 2021. The victims were Wilhelm Hospel, Virginia Sorenson, Leanna Owen, Tamara Durand, Jane Kulich, and Jackson Sparks, along with over 60 others who were injured. This observance commemorates their memory and recognizes the community's resilience in the years following this devastating tragedy.

United States flags in Wisconsin shall be flown at half-staff on November 22, 2026, in recognition of this tragic anniversary.
