Flags at Half-Staff for Amie Sue Lee

Governor Tony Evers ordered flags of the United States and Wisconsin to fly at half-staff across the state on July 24, 2025, to honor Amie Sue Lee, a dedicated Safety Officer, Firefighter, and Emergency Medical Responder with the Van Dyne Fire Department. Lee passed away on July 14, 2025, at age 61 from complications resulting from a line-of-duty injury sustained at the fire station. She had served the Van Dyne Fire Department with distinction for 14 years, also volunteering with the EAA and Lifefest medical teams for over a decade.

Flags of the United States and Wisconsin shall be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
