Flags at Half-Staff for Jeff Armbruster

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine ordered flags in Lorain County to be lowered to half-staff in honor of Jeffry J. Armbruster, the Lorain County Administrator and former Ohio State Senator who passed away on May 15, 2026. Armbruster died at his home in North Ridgeville after a battle with brain cancer at age 78. Throughout his distinguished career as a public servant and businessman, he made lasting impacts on his community and the state of Ohio.
Flag protocol
All United States and Ohio flags at public buildings and grounds in Lorain County and at the Ohio Statehouse complex in Columbus shall fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on June 7, 2026.
