Flags at Half-Staff for Lindsey Graham
July 13, 2026 – July 18, 2026
In accordance with a proclamation from the White House, Governor Andy Beshear of Kentucky directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff in honor of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, who died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from a brief and sudden illness. Graham, 71, was a longtime U.S. Senator from South Carolina who served in the Senate from 2003 until his death. Governor Beshear encouraged individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout Kentucky to join in this tribute to the respected senator.
Flag protocol
Flags at all Kentucky state office buildings shall be lowered to half-staff from July 13, 2026 through 6 p.m. local time on July 18, 2026.
