Flags at Half-Staff for Wisconsin Fallen Firefighters

Governor Tony Evers of Wisconsin signed Executive Order #290 ordering U.S. and Wisconsin flags to fly at half-staff to honor firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty. The order takes effect on multiple dates throughout 2026, beginning with May 3 in recognition of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service. Governor Evers acknowledged the immense sacrifice of firefighters and their families, stating that Wisconsin owes them an incredible debt of gratitude.
