Flags at Half-Staff for Firefighter/Paramedic Demair Lloyd

The Governor of Maryland ordered flags to half-staff on June 1, 2026, to honor Firefighter/Paramedic Demair Lloyd of the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department. Lloyd, who served the department since 2006 and was stationed at Station 841 in Calverton, passed away on May 30, 2026, after suffering a medical emergency at home following the completion of his regular 24-hour shift. This flag order pays tribute to his nearly 20 years of dedicated service and his valued contributions to the fire service community.
