Flags at Half-Staff for George Petak

Governor Tony Evers issued an order to fly flags at half-staff to honor former Wisconsin State Senator George Petak, who passed away on December 24, 2024, at age 75. Petak served in the Wisconsin Senate from 1991 to 1996, representing the 21st district. He is remembered as a man of faith, courage, and principle who displayed a servant's heart throughout his life and service to Wisconsin.
