Flags at Half-Staff for David Taylor

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt ordered all American and Oklahoma flags on state property to be flown at half-staff September 1-4 in honor of federal wildlife officer David Taylor. The 38-year-old officer from Oregon died while helping residents evacuate from the Railroad South Fire in Comanche County. Taylor was going door-to-door with emergency crews to help families reach safety when he perished during the evacuation effort, demonstrating extraordinary courage and devotion to duty.
