Flags at Half-Staff for the Oak Creek Sikh Temple Shooting Anniversary

Governor Tony Evers of Wisconsin signed an executive order to honor the victims of the tragic shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek on August 5, 2012. A white supremacist gunman killed seven people—six who died immediately and one who succumbed to injuries in 2020. This order commemorates the 14th anniversary of the tragedy and honors the victims and survivors while recognizing the community's resilience.
