Flags at Half-Staff for Tyler James Feehan
July 20, 2026 – July 22, 2026
Governor Josh Green ordered flags at half-staff throughout Hawaii to honor 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, a 25-year-old from Ewa Beach. Feehan was killed in action on July 18, 2026, during an Iranian missile attack on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan while supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. His service and ultimate sacrifice are remembered with respect by his state and nation.
Flag protocol
All United States flags and Hawaii state flags are to be flown at half-staff at all state offices, agencies, and the Hawaii National Guard from July 20 through July 22, 2026.
