WI State Order · Half-Staff
Flags at Half-Staff for Timothy Cullen
January 4, 2025
Governor Tony Evers signed Executive Order #251 ordering flags of the United States and Wisconsin to be flown at half-staff on January 4, 2025, honoring former Wisconsin State Senator Timothy Cullen, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at age 80. Cullen was a dedicated public servant who devoted his life to good governance, fighting for working families, and advocating fiercely for nonpartisan redistricting and fair maps in Wisconsin. His commitment to these causes extended beyond his time in the legislature through his work with Common Cause Wisconsin, where he served as chair from 2018 to 2022. The flag order pays respect to his significant contributions to Wisconsin and his legacy of principled, bipartisan service.
