Flags at Half-Staff for Fallen Emergency Medical Services Professionals

Governor Tony Evers of Wisconsin signed Executive Order #295 on May 22, 2026, to honor emergency medical services professionals who have given their lives in the line of duty. This flag order was issued to coincide with the final day of National EMS Week, which runs from May 17-23, 2026 throughout Wisconsin. The flags of the United States and the state of Wisconsin are being flown at half-staff to recognize the sacrifice and service of EMS professionals and acknowledge the difficult and dangerous work they perform for their communities.
