Flags at Half-Staff for National POW/MIA Recognition Day

The Governor of Virginia has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff on September 17, 2026, in observance of National POW/MIA Recognition Day. This solemn day honors and remembers all prisoners of war and those missing in action who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The Commonwealth of Virginia recognizes the sacrifices and service of these brave military personnel.
