Flags at Half-Staff for Pat Patterson

Former Representative Pat Patterson passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 77. The Governor of Florida has directed flags to be flown at half-staff in his honor. Patterson was a dedicated public servant who served on the Volusia County Council and in the Florida House of Representatives, where he represented District 26 from 1998 to 2000 and again from 2002 to 2010.

Flags of the United States and the State of Florida are to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the State Capitol in Tallahassee, the Volusia County Courthouse, and DeLand City Hall.
