Flags at Half-Staff for Lindsey Graham

At the direction of President Donald J. Trump, flags were lowered to half-staff throughout Texas and other states in honor of Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who died on July 12, 2026, at age 71 from a brief and sudden illness. Graham was elected to the Senate in 2002 and was a close political ally of the President, serving for over two decades in Congress. He was widely recognized for his work on foreign policy and his deep friendships forged across the aisle during his three decades of service.

Flags in Texas shall remain at half-staff from July 13, 2026, through 6 P.M. on July 18, 2026.
