Flags at Half-Staff for Eustace Charles

Governor Albert Bryan Jr. of the U.S. Virgin Islands ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of Police Officer Eustace Charles, who served with the Virgin Islands Police Department's Executive Security Unit and was assigned to the Lieutenant Governor's security detail. Officer Charles was fatally shot on July 26, 2026. He was known for his professionalism, reliability, and unwavering commitment to duty in protecting others.

Virgin Islands flags shall be flown at half-staff at Government House and on all public buildings throughout the Territory.
