Flags at Half-Staff for Nicholas Janz

Governor Tony Evers ordered the flags of the United States and the State of Wisconsin to be flown at half-staff as a mark of respect for Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs employee Nicholas Janz. Janz was a facility maintenance specialist at the Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin, who died while performing his duties. The half-staff order was issued to honor his service and memory.
Flag protocol
Flags of the United States and the State of Wisconsin are flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on the day of interment.
