Flags at Half-Staff for Corey P. Proulx

Governor Tony Evers issued Executive Order #231 to lower flags to half-staff in honor of Corey P. Proulx, a 49-year-old youth counselor at Lincoln Hills School in Wisconsin who died from injuries sustained during an assault by a juvenile on June 24, 2024. Proulx responded heroically to protect fellow staff and residents when the incident occurred. He was declared brain dead on June 25, 2024, and in his final act of compassion, his family honored his wishes to donate his organs, saving multiple lives.
Flag protocol
All flags in Wisconsin shall be flown at half-staff.
