Flags at Half-Staff for Wisconsin Fallen Firefighters

Governor Tony Evers signed Executive Order #290 to honor Wisconsin firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty. The flags of the United States and Wisconsin are flown at half-staff on May 3, 2026, in recognition of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service. This observance marks National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend and pays tribute to the sacrifice and service of those who died while protecting their communities.
Flag protocol
Flags shall be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at all state buildings, grounds, and military installations in Wisconsin.
