Flags at Half-Staff for Illinois Tollway Employee Calvin Holley

Governor J.B. Pritzker ordered flags to half-staff on June 12, 2026, to honor Illinois Tollway employee Calvin L. Holley, a 52-year-old equipment operator and laborer. Holley was killed on May 30, 2026, while performing pothole repairs on Interstate 294 in Des Plaines when he was struck by a vehicle. This tribute recognizes his two years of dedicated service to the Illinois Tollway and the critical infrastructure work he performed.
