Flags at Half-Staff for National Ems Week

Governor Tony Evers signed Executive Order #295 to honor emergency medical services professionals who have given their lives in the line of duty. This order comes during National EMS Week, May 17-23, 2026, which recognizes the vital service and daily sacrifices of EMS professionals. The flags of the United States and the state of Wisconsin fly at half-staff to pay respect to these brave first responders.
Flag protocol
Flags of the United States and Wisconsin shall be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in observance of National EMS Week.
