Flags at Half-Staff for Patriot Day

In observance of Patriot Day, the Governor of New York directs flags on state government buildings to be flown at half-staff on Friday, September 11, 2026. This annual commemoration honors the 2,977 innocent lives lost in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The flags will remain at half-staff throughout the day in remembrance and respect for those who died and the first responders who served on that tragic day.
