Flags at Half-Staff for Patriot Day
September 11, 2026
Governor Joe Lombardo signed a proclamation recognizing the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Flags are lowered to half-staff at the State Capitol and all state buildings and grounds to honor the nearly 3,000 Americans whose lives were taken and the heroism of first responders. This solemn observance reflects on the courage and sacrifice of those who died and those who served in response to the attacks.
