Flags at Half-Staff for September 11 Attacks

Governor Tina Kotek of Oregon has ordered all flags at public institutions across the state to fly at half-staff on September 11, 2026, to honor the victims and first responders of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The order marks the 25th anniversary of the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 civilians and first responders. This observance reflects the state's commitment to remembering those whose lives were forever changed by the tragic events.
Flag protocol
Oregon flags at public institutions shall be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Friday, September 11, 2026, in remembrance of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
